Jinmao Luxuriance: A Club Inspired by the Fantastic Forest

A Unique Blend of Nature and Urban Lifestyle

The club's main focus is on fitness and sports, providing an interactive platform for its members. What sets Jinmao Luxuriance apart is its innovative use of space. The club takes advantage of the underground environment, transforming it into a medium that seamlessly connects with the ground above. This concept of closed to open space allows visitors to enjoy a unique and immersive experience.

The design of Jinmao Luxuriance incorporates a variety of materials to create a harmonious blend of natural and modern elements. Italian volcanic rock, acrylic resin, soft film painting, green plant walls, wood, and aluminum plates are among the main materials used. This combination creates a visually stunning and environmentally friendly space.

Spanning a total of 1830 square meters, Jinmao Luxuriance offers a range of amenities and features. The corridor space utilizes environment-friendly water texture resin acrylic, while the swimming pool area is adorned with simulation green plants, providing a permanent and sustainable solution. The ceiling, made from warm and textured log material, adds to the overall comfort of the space.

The project, which began in March 2019 and concluded in February 2021, was located in Zhengzhou. Throughout the design process, the team faced several challenges, including the lack of natural lighting in most of the underground space and the absence of a sense of hierarchy in the structure. However, these obstacles were overcome through creative solutions and meticulous attention to detail.

One of the standout features of Jinmao Luxuriance is the seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces. The artificial natural background indoors complements the real natural landscape outdoors, creating a cohesive and immersive atmosphere. The indoor New Oriental screen and the outdoor screen form a physical dialogue, allowing visitors to experience a seamless transition from indoor to outdoor.

When entering the pool space, visitors are greeted with a breathtaking view of the Peach Garden, evoking a sense of tranquility and serenity. The super long and large green plant wall landscape, combined with the boundless pool, creates a symbiotic relationship between the mountains and waters, further enhancing the natural ambiance.

Jinmao Luxuriance has been recognized for its exceptional design and creativity, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2022. This prestigious award acknowledges the project's incorporation of best practices in art, science, design, and technology, contributing to improvements in quality of life.
